ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced to start stage sit-ins across the country from today (Monday).
While addressing the participants to ‘Inqilab March’, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that he had received at least seven letters, dispatched by the government, stating that his (Qadri) life was in danger.
The PAT chief said that his personal vehicle was locked by using jammers to prevent him from addressing to ‘Inqilab March’ participants.
PAT chief stated that the workers’ of PAT were peaceful and non-violent. He said no democracy, rule of law or constitution exists in Pakistan, adding that if any constitution exists in Pakistan then PM Nawaz Sharif and CM Shahbaz Sharif resigned after Model Town’s tragedy.
Qadri also criticized government’s judicial commission and added that FIR of Model town incident had not been yet registered.
Qadri demanded resignation of Nawaz Sharif and and Shahbaz Sharif and vowed not to move away from their demands.
He maintained that the government had lost its writ in country especially in Sindh as girls in shelter homes were being sold to dacoits, while about 20000 people were abducted from the province.
The PAT chief claimed that raids had been conducted at the homes of Majlis-i-Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) workers because the group had announced on Sunday that they would take out protests in support of Qadri.
