Haider is a 2014 Bollywood Movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Hamlet.  Hamlet is the story of a son of a former king who takes revenge from his uncle and the then King Claudius for snatching away the throne by murdering his father.  Most of parts of the Movie has been shot in Kashmir Valley. Shahid will play Hamlet in a modern Kashmiri context with the unrest in the Valley forming a backdrop.
